Scope and acceptance
These Terms of Use are between you and Wangtao Xie, the provider of Origo X. They cover Origo X apps and our account, membership, download and related first-party services. When the app presents the terms on first use or after a material update, you accept them only by selecting “Agree and continue” or an equivalent confirmation clearly described on that screen. Merely visiting open.xxread.top or reading a public legal document does not accept all terms.
If you do not agree, do not continue using a service that requires acceptance. Whether a feature requires an account, payment or network access is shown in the current app and its specific terms. Minors should use online, account and purchase features with guidance from a parent or guardian.
Services and availability
Origo X provides local ebook reading, library and reading-record management, and may provide accounts, membership verification, software downloads, update checks and online features that you configure. Some features depend on operating systems, app stores, content sites or services you choose, so availability varies by platform, version, region, device and configuration.
We maintain the service and address reasonable security, compatibility and reliability issues, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted third-party services, networks or imported content. Planned maintenance, urgent fixes, upstream changes or security risks may temporarily limit a feature.
Accounts and security
Provide usable sign-in information and protect passwords, verification codes, passkeys, two-factor credentials and signed-in devices. You are responsible for activity under your account. If you detect unauthorized use, update your credentials and contact the maintainer through the support channel.
Do not sell or rent accounts, bypass authentication, purchase verification, entitlements or risk controls, or disrupt the service through automated abuse, bulk registration, malicious redemption, attacks or similar conduct. We may limit abnormal requests and suspend affected capabilities when evidence shows abuse or danger to the service. Sharing an IP address alone does not establish that users are the same person.
Books, notes and configuration
Rights in books, sources, notes, highlights, covers, fonts, backups and other material you import remain with their respective owners. You are responsible for having permission to obtain, store, process, sync and read that material and for the content and configuration you import, publish or connect.
Local reading data is stored on the device by default. When you enable WebDAV, AI, cloud speech, sources or another external service, material is sent to that service according to your action. See the Privacy Policy, Book Sources and Third-Party Content Rules, and Third-Party Services Notice. Back up important material before deletion, cleanup, uninstall or sync.
Acceptable use
Do not use Origo X for unlawful activity, infringement of intellectual property or privacy, malicious code, bypassing access controls, unauthorized scraping, abnormal load, impersonating the maintainer, or misleading others into believing a source, item or service is endorsed by Origo X.
Origo X is a general reading tool. It does not provide or sell third-party books and does not grant rights to access them. When we receive a specific, verifiable report, we may remove a link, configuration or entry from official channels and keep records needed to handle the report.
Software, open source and feedback
The Origo X software and website code, brand, interface assets and service content are protected under applicable intellectual-property rules. Components released under open-source licenses remain governed by those licenses. These terms do not change third-party licenses or transfer rights in content you import.
Bug reports, suggestions and code contributions sent through public project channels may be used as needed to investigate issues, improve the product and maintain the project. Code contributions are also governed by the repository’s contribution and open-source terms. Never post personal information, keys, full orders or restricted content publicly.
Updates, termination and changes
You may stop using the service, sign out, or delete an account as described in Privacy Notice & Choices. Sign-out, uninstall and account deletion have different effects. Purchases, refunds, third-party copies and records that must remain are handled under their specific rules.
When product features, data processing, purchase models or service rules materially change, we update the version, dates and change summary and request acceptance again where needed. Editorial changes that do not alter meaning should not unnecessarily advance the consent version.
