Start listening
Open read aloud from your current book, select a system voice and start playback. The player can show the cover or text. Check device volume and installed system voices before your first session.
Playback controls
Pause, resume, adjust speed and set a sleep timer in the player. System voice language and pronunciation depend on your device TTS engine. Available voices can differ across devices.
Use Doubao cloud speech
Open Settings → Cloud TTS, select Doubao, enter your own speech API key, then preview the voice and select Save and use. See Doubao cloud TTS: API key and setup for official application links, activation steps and app configuration. Cloud speech requires a network connection and may incur provider usage charges.
If there is no sound
Check mute, media volume, headphone output and system TTS. Try another installed voice with a short passage. If the system pauses background playback, check its battery and background restrictions. Include your system and voice engine in a report.
