- Introduces unified terms for entitlements, trials, purchase verification, restoration and refunds.
Scope and entitlement types
Basic local reading features are available free of charge. These terms cover separately offered Reader purchase entitlements, Explorer extensions, trials, redemption codes, promotional grants and app-store purchases. Products, prices, platforms, features and eligibility are those shown on the purchase screen, store listing and current server configuration.
“Lifetime” for a one-time purchase means the corresponding purchased software entitlement has no fixed expiry date. It does not promise that the app, device, third-party store, online interface or every feature will exist indefinitely, and it does not prevent reversal of an erroneous grant after a refund, fraud, ownership conflict or rule violation.
Accounts, purchase and ownership
New store purchases require an Origo account. Store evidence and server verification bind the entitlement to that account. A verified Production purchase can be restored on supported platforms under the current product rules. Historical anonymous purchases use compatibility rules and do not move to an arbitrary account merely because it signs in first.
Before purchase, confirm the Origo account, product tier and store account. Once bound, a transaction should not move between Origo accounts. The Explorer upgrade requires an independent permanent Reader entitlement; the complete Explorer offer includes Reader access, subject to actual store availability. Codes and promotional grants follow their displayed eligibility and expiry rules.
Trials and temporary access
Trial availability, duration and platforms are shown in the current interface. A cross-platform Reader trial can start only once for the same account according to server records and is not extended by reinstalling, changing devices or clocks, or repeating requests. Test-environment transactions do not create Production access.
Temporary Explorer, campaign and referral grants end at their recorded expiry. Any derived Reader capability ends with them unless the account has a separate permanent Reader right or another active source.
Payment, verification and restore
Apple App Store, Google Play or the payment service named on the purchase page processes payment and payment-account information. We process product, order or transaction identifiers, purchase time, state, verification evidence and entitlement ownership to verify purchases, restore access, handle reversals and prevent fraud. Apple payments do not give us your complete card number.
Purchase verification needs network access. Offline evidence has a bounded validity and must refresh. Replaying the same valid transaction does not grant duplicate access. Pending, invalid, Sandbox, account-mismatched, refunded or revoked transactions do not create Production access.
Refunds, revocation and account deletion
Refunds and reversals are handled by the original payment channel under its rules. Deleting the app, signing out or deleting an Origo account does not automatically request a refund. The payment platform may retain transaction records. Ownership of account-bound Reader and Explorer transactions cannot move to another account; after account deletion they become terminal records and cannot be restored to a new account.
A refund or store revocation deactivates that purchase source but does not revoke another independent code, campaign, administrative or store entitlement that remains active. If the permanent Reader purchase required by an Explorer upgrade is revoked, ownership of the upgrade transaction remains recorded but Explorer and derived Reader access pause until another qualifying independent permanent Reader right is active.
Prices, features and updates
Prices, bundles, trials and sales regions for products not yet purchased may change. Completed transactions are handled according to the product shown at purchase and the store record. Product features evolve, and a separate new paid product is not automatically included in an earlier product unless its offer says so.
When purchase models, entitlement scope or restoration rules materially change, we update the version, dates and change summary. For purchase or restoration support, use the support channel and share only the minimum transaction evidence through a private channel.
