Create a snapshot manually

Configure your server and account on the WebDAV backup page, check the connection and choose to back up now. Backup does not run automatically on launch, reading or import, and is not live multi device sync. Each backup is a separate ZIP snapshot.

Choose what to include

Choose bookshelf and progress, bookmarks and notes, reading statistics, sources and reading settings. Book text is excluded by default; select books individually or select all. Online books are not fully downloaded just for backup. Wait for completion before removing original data.

Restore a chosen point in time

Choose a complete snapshot and the categories to restore. Books merge by default without overwriting matching entries; enable overwrite only when you intend to replace fields. Keep important current files and enough free space for download and verification.

What is not transferred

Sign in credentials, membership state, WebDAV passwords, AI credentials and system permissions are not restored from snapshots. Font files, background images and rebuildable caches are excluded. Backups are not end to end encrypted; use a WebDAV service you trust.
